We are witnessing a new era in information consumption, where digital media has become the predominant channel for disseminating information. Through the use of motion, we now have the capacity to convey complex messages in a simplified manner. It is important to recognize that the traditional design paradigm, which aimed to encapsulate everything within a single image, has undergone a significant transformation. Animation provides us with a timeline framework that allows us to communicate concepts through a sequential and narrative-driven approach. In some instances, the journey itself proves to be more captivating than the ultimate outcome.
Bio
Motion design freelancer specialized in using animation and interaction to communicate concepts through movement. I treat motion as something implicit within design, not as a complementary tool.
Graduated in Graphic Design (EINA 2012), self-taught in Motion and with studies on Type Design (Tipo.G 2019) and Virtual and Augmented Reality (MIT 2022).
Former in Branding and Graphic Design at Mayúscula and Summa between 2012 to 2017. Co-founder of Gimmewings Studio, a Motion Design Studio based in Barcelona, from 2018 to 2022.
